Oil & Gas Storage Terminals

We use state-of-the-art technology to meet environmental regulations.

Building a Sustainable Future for Oil and Gas

Part of supporting sustainability efforts means aiding the Oil & Gas industry in modifying their facilities to abide by environmental regulations and to reduce their energy consumption. It’s also critical to ensure the structural integrity of these facilities by complying with construction standards and performing preventative maintenance. This ensures operator safety and prevents accidental leakage that can adversely affect the environment and its surroundings.

We work with facilities to introduce alternative energy solutions, such as solar grids and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, that minimize greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and improve energy efficiency. With these systems, facilities can produce their own clean electricity as well as process steam, hot water, and/or chilled water.

Switching storage terminal facilities to reliable energy sources also benefits the community. In Puerto Rico, a weak power grid hit by increasingly unpredictable and robust weather events can leave hundreds of thousands of people without power. By providing a cleaner, more resilient energy source, facilities serving as fuel sources can continue operations and support communities dependent on backup generators for power.
