Scope:

Implementation of a SCADA System in a packaging line.

Objective:

A medicine and pharmaceutical manufacturing plant needed a solution that addressed user errors and other issues related to their packaging line. Mistakes often occurred when operators entered data from the MES to the packaging line, causing a stall in production.

Solution:

We implemented a SCADA system that passed the MES batch information directly to the packaging line, avoiding user mistakes and unnecessary pauses in production. The SCADA system also complied with the client’s requirement to execute specific processes to improve efficiency.

Results:

Our TEKSOL staff was able to design and commission a solution that met all of the client’s needs and continues to provide maintenance services.
