A pharmaceutical manufacturing plant needed to reduce operational cost, increase efficiency, and minimize downtime at one of its manufacturing plants.
To cover the scope of the project, we provided project management, design, deployment, and validation support. This included HMI and PLC programming up to commissioning of the automation system.
The key feature to address the client’s needs was the implementation of FactoryTalk Metrics which monitors efficiency, collects data, and provides analytics. It also evaluates the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of individual assets and parameters to quickly identify areas for improvement.
