Scope:

1.5 MW Electrical Capacity, 120 RTON Chilled Water Capacity, 5×105 BTU/hr Hot Water Capacity, Off-grid Operating Mode

Objective:

An oil storage terminal needed an alternative to a weak local power grid that could provide reliable, resilient, and low-cost power.

Solution:

To address this, we installed two containerized Siemens SGE-24SM propane-fueled generators. This new CHP System produced enough reliable energy to power 100% of the client’s operations and cut its energy costs in half.

Results:

Thanks to this disaster-proof solution, the client experienced record sales, retained all its employees, and helped its neighbors in Yabucoa regain access to clean water by donating their then unused backup generator.
